Like you, I tend to notice things more as I’ve gotten older - who would’ve thought I would enjoy watching birds like my mother did? I do! I was at our rental house wandering around the other day and noticed bees diligently working in the sunflowers we planted earlier this year. There’s something magical about watching things grow and seeing (or hearing) God’s creation!
Same! My dad was also a bird lover and we always had feeders, but I certainly didn't appreciate it like I do now. I will say though, he would never give me gardening advice (even though he was pretty much an expert)! He always made me trouble shoot it out and try things myself. He would give me a couple of ideas and make me figure it out. ;)
