I loved this!

As a nature lover, homebody and someone who has music running through my veins, I understood every part of this. As children, we really are more ourselves until society tells us what we should strive for and who we should be. The twenties are definitely for exploration and trying things on to see how it fits. We are the lucky ones who found our way back to our authentic selves and to what truly makes us happy. 🤗

Yes! Took me a while, but I’m sorting it out ♥️ happy to see you are as well!

The detail of flipping through your dad's National Geographics carefully so you wouldn't bend the pages says more about who you actually were than any bucket list could. Glad you found your way back to her, mountains and all.

It’s a fun memory for sure ♥️ thanks for taking the time to read!

I can relate to so much of this - what I thought life would be vs. what it actually looks like. “The goal post was always moving” is so true! These days I’m more grounded than ever in my faith; God is so good - although there are still tough days. Home is where I’m most content and like you, when I was younger, I never thought that would be the case.

When we are young I think our interests are just so much more clear. There is less life in the way and outside influence to muddy the waters. I love to see new places, but I always love coming home!
